You can install Windows Applications on your Mac in 3 ways. Use Bootcamp to install Windows on your Mac. Requires a legal copy of Windows. Also the fastest, but you can't run Mac Applications at the same time. If you are looking for a new machine, especially a laptop, the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro have a number of challenges ahead of them. How well they will be answered by Tim Cook and his team is not. Nov 19, 2020 Unfortunately, with the transition to Apple Silicon and its ARM-based instruction set, the question of actually running Windows directly on a new M1-based MacBook or Mac mini is suddenly a lot. If you use a MacBook Air, a MacBook Pro, or a Mac Mini with an M1 chip inside, you can still run Windows apps on it using the CrossOver compatibility layer. What is CrossOver For Mac? CrossOver is an application that provides a Windows compatibility layer on the Mac. Bootcamp has long been the default way to run Windows on a Mac. We've covered it before, and you can use the MacOS tool to partition your Mac's hard drive to install Windows in its own space.
Ok i can't get any answers here, its all for windows 7 which doesn't work on windows 10, i use a dual boot macbook pro and I use windows 10 as one of the OS's. I know about the click + hold shift + press f10 one but it doesn't work for a lot of games/apps.

Running Windows On A Macbook
On a Mac, you have several options for installing software that allows you to run Windows and Windows applications:
Running Windows On A Macbook
- Run Windows and Windows applications locally:
- To dual-boot between macOS and Windows, use Apple's Boot Camp. This approach provides the most compatibility with Windows software and peripherals, but does not allow you to run Windows and macOS applications at the same time.
- To run Windows in a virtual machine within macOS, use Parallels Desktop, VMware Fusion, or VirtualBox. This method will allow you to run Mac and Windows applications concurrently, though the virtual machine does not support as much Windows functionality as a dual-boot configuration.
- To run Windows programs without having to install Windows itself, use a Windows compatibility layer, such as CrossOver Mac. This option typically offers good functionality for a limited set of Windows applications.
